…we have been buried in sheetrock. And flooring. And new, vintage furniture. And lots of soft fabrics and shiny crystals.

The STUDIO EXPANSION is almost complete, and we are now shooting in an additional 1000 square feet of space, specifically decorated just for our boudoir photography. Here’s a little teaser, since we’re holding off on the full pics until we can get an open house scheduled.

So, it’s time to celebrate, don’t you agree? We are offering remaining April 2012 dates at 1/3 off for the boudoir session, including professional, onsite hair and makeup styling, and same-day viewing.

I have been wanting to do this for YEARS…blend video clips and still images. It’s not a groundbreaking new invention, and I’m not even great at it yet, but this is my very first experiment. ta-da! Holy buckets.

I would love to show you everything we’ve been up to lately, but the closest I’m going to get is doing a few mega-blog posts. This is a collection of images from 2 mini session dates we had this fall. They were one week apart. Week 1: 60 degrees and sunny. Week 2: sleet. That’s MN for you. We were able to head back into the studio for the baby sessions, but everyone else braved the weather. You probably can’t tell which ones were on the sleet day, can you?

I see, you’re wondering, “What, exactly is a MINI SESSION?” Well, it’s basically a quick version of our portrait sessions. Sometimes you don’t need a whole hour of variety; you just need to update your family photos with some great, professional shots. We schedule a few dates per year and offer 20-30 minute quick sessions (for small groups only) as an option for our clients. We pick a spot and shoot several sessions, back to back.

Mini session dates tend to sell out quickly.
